Looking Ahead and Getting It Done!

Those of us who are committed to long-term relationships with our clients are diligent to warn them change will occur. We promise that we will do our best to be there for them, to keep their portfolios current and to meet head on any changes that come along. Your Southern Arizona FSP Chapter Board of Directors believes that you, our members deserve the same kind of commitment.

Our business is changing and there are several organizations for financial professionals soliciting your time, money, membership and loyalty. Our primary goal always has been to provide the highest level of continuing education to financial professionals and the affiliated tax, legal and investment colleagues they work with. Our objective in the past has been and always will be to provide value to our members. It isn’t to build a gigantic organization or do it just like someone else does.

The American Society is evolving, changing its way of doing things in order to provide the added value of being a member. I happen to believe most of these changes are long overdue and will immediately benefit our members in their respective practices. The American Society, now known as FSP is committed to meeting these changes head on. They have “seen the light”. Your Board of Directors is always looking for ways to meet any changes head on, review and refine the way we are doing things in order to continue meeting our primary goal and objective. That begins with strategic planning. That includes listening to you and attempting to integrate the ideas you give us for our planning.

We started by critiquing ourselves for the past year and outlining some areas of concentration for the future. We targeted the following areas as we drafted our strategic plan:

Strengths…Weaknesses…. Most Important to our Members… Getting It Done

Over the next few months, through articles and various methods of communication, you will learn more specifically about our strategic plan. Your Board sincerely believes our responsibility is to serve you, our members. We sincerely ask for and will appreciate your input about your Chapter, whether good or bad. We also ask for your cooperation and involvement. You can always contact anyone on the Board of Directors with your thoughts and ideas.

Change is taking place everywhere. How will you respond? We are looking forward to serving you. Have a great winter in the Old Pueblo!
